This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes are handled for paid services purchased on KadiMudi.LK (“KadiMudi”, “we”, “us”, “our”), operated by ZikZen Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. This policy applies to payments made through https://www.kadimudi.lk for paid features such as Featured Ads, Boosts, Priority Placement, Bump-Up, Subscription-style packages, and any other promotional services (“Paid Services”). By purchasing any Paid Service on KadiMudi, you agree to this Refund Policy.

This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1) What We Sell (Paid Services)

KadiMudi sells promotional services for classifieds listings, such as increasing visibility or placement of an ad for a specified period. Paid Services do not guarantee a sale, lead, or response; they only provide the promotional benefits described at the time of purchase.

2) Payment Methods

Online payments for Paid Services are processed via third-party payment gateways and banking/payment partners (such as PayHere, Koko, and/or other providers offered at checkout). We do not store your full card details on our servers. Refunds (if approved) are generally initiated through the same payment channel used for the original transaction, subject to gateway and bank rules.

3) General Refund Rule

Because Paid Services are digital promotional services that begin delivering value immediately (or are scheduled to start), payments are generally non-refundable once the service has started, been activated, or delivered, except where required by applicable law or where we explicitly approve a refund under the conditions below.

4) When You May Be Eligible for a Refund

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in these situations:

  • Duplicate Payment: You were charged more than once for the same Paid Service due to a technical error.
  • Service Not Activated: Payment was successful but the Paid Service was not applied to your listing within a reasonable time due to a system issue.
  • Platform Error or Downtime: A technical issue prevented delivery of the Paid Service for a significant portion of the purchased duration.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If you believe a payment was unauthorized, you must notify us immediately and also contact your bank or payment provider.

5) When Refunds Are Not Provided

Refunds will generally not be provided for:

  • Change of Mind: You decided not to continue after purchasing the Paid Service.
  • Incorrect Selection: You purchased the wrong package, duration, or listing boost by mistake.
  • Expected Results: You did not receive responses, leads, calls, or sales. Paid Services do not guarantee outcomes.
  • Policy Violations: Your ad or listing was removed, rejected, or limited due to violation of our Terms & Conditions or posting rules.
  • Service Already Started or Delivered: The Paid Service has already started, been activated, or delivered.

6) Cancellations

If your Paid Service is scheduled to start in the future and you request cancellation before it starts, we may consider a refund at our discretion, provided no part of the service has been delivered and the request is made promptly. Once a Paid Service starts, cancellations are not possible and refunds are generally not issued.

7) How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us as soon as possible with the following details:

  • Registered account email or phone number
  • Ad ID or Listing reference
  • Payment date and amount
  • Payment reference or transaction ID from the gateway
  • Reason for request and any screenshots (if applicable)

8) Review and Decision

We will review your request and may ask for additional information to verify the transaction or investigate technical issues. We will notify you of our decision within a reasonable timeframe. Approved refunds may be full or partial depending on the circumstances, for example if part of the Paid Service duration was delivered.

9) Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved, we will initiate it as soon as reasonably possible. Refund settlement time depends on the payment gateway and your bank or card issuer. In most cases, refunds reflect within 7 to 14 business days, but it can take longer depending on the provider’s process and public holidays.

10) Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you raise a chargeback or dispute through your bank or payment provider, we may provide relevant transaction and service-delivery information to the payment gateway or bank to respond to the dispute. The final outcome is determined by the payment provider or bank rules and applicable regulations.

11) Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform and purchase of Paid Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
